There was mention last week about the PBS
series on Rock-n-Roll. Anyone in the SoCal
sprawl should tune in to KCET (ch28) tonight
as they are running the Punk and Funk episodes
at 9 and 10. I'm guessing these are the two
episodes that everyone claimed had some list
relevance.
And on the Big Top Tip: There is another
"electronica" festival starting up next month
called Electric Highway with the Crystal Method
in the lead slot. I saw their name on the Big
Top list so I don't know whether the two shows
collide and become the Electric Black Top Highway
or what. The shows I know for EH are:
Aug 15 - San Diego
Aug 16 - Phoenix
Aug 21 - Dallas
Aug 23 - Atlanta
Other performers should include Fluke and Uberzone
plus random DJs. If I see any more concrete data
I'll post it.
